Many people have told me they really like my previous works Blue and Selah Alhambra, but I felt both pieces didn't quite manage to capture what I wanted. Both also featured sad girls in profile with fish about them. I don't think this piece quite gets there either, but its some more exploration on the same theme, with different mood and done during a different time in my life.

In some ways this also painting also follows Stay, texturally and compositionally it's very similar. I enjoyed allowing the piece to remain fairly abstract and rough.
